Terms & Conditions

We are committed to premium workmanship, clear timelines, and fair outcomes. This page explains how we work, what we guarantee, and the simple terms that protect both you and your garment.

Workmanship Assurance

If an alteration pinned by our team isn’t right, we will adjust it once at no charge.
If the alteration was requested against our recommendation, or measurements/pinning were not done by Tailor & Tweak, additional charges may apply.
Please return the garment within 10 days of collection so we can assess and resolve it promptly.

 

If a garment is confirmed damaged beyond repair while in our care:

  • For new garments, we reimburse up to the value shown on the original receipt and retain the item. If no receipt is available, the client may be asked to provide proof of purchase/value.

  • Our maximum compensation for any single garment is capped at AED 2,000, even if the item value is higher.

 

For pre-worn garments: compensation is limited to up to 2× the alteration charge (excluding tax) and will not exceed the item’s reasonable value.

We do not reimburse shipping/import charges for items purchased online.

Cancellation

To cancel, pause, or change an order, please notify us within 24 hours of placing the order.
After 24 hours, changes may not be possible and a 20% cancellation fee may apply to cover work already started.

 

For safety, if an order does not proceed, all pins will be removed.

Payment

Full pre-payment is required at the time the order is placed, before services are rendered.

Client-Provided Measurements / Pinning

For best results, we recommend pinning and measuring with our team.
If pinning/measurements are provided by the client or a third party (including retail stores), we will follow the provided instructions and cannot guarantee the final fit in the same way as when our team pins the garment.

 

For safety, all pins will be removed if the order does not proceed

Uncollected Garments

Garments not collected within 60 days of the drop-off date may be donated or responsibly disposed of if we have been unable to reach you by SMS or phone.

Hygiene

Alterations are carried out on clean garments only.
For health and safety reasons, we may decline items that are heavily soiled.

Promotions

Promotions may only be redeemed during the stated offer period and must  be mentioned upon order.

​​Promotions and offers cannot be combined.
